-
Ofsted
We have been awarded good across all areas by Ofsted in our most recent inspection.
The inspector’s report highlights our exceptional staff and the joy our children experience during their time with us.
-
Safe guarding
“Children learn best when they are healthy, safe and secure, when their individual needs are met, and when they have positive relationships with the adults caring for them.”
We @ BMC Pre-School do and must “create high quality settings which are welcoming, safe and stimulating, and where children are able to enjoy learning and grow in confidence.”
We do and must “take all necessary steps to keep children safe and well. Safeguard children; ensure the suitability of adults who have contact with children; promote good health; manage behaviour; and maintain records, policies and procedures.” (statutory framework Sep 21)
-
First Aid
All our staff are paediatric first aid trained and qualified to provide care if your child has an accident while at preschool.
If your child has an accident at preschool or needs first aid after an incident, we may get in touch to let you know what’s happened and, if needed, ask you to collect your child.
All accidents will be recorded and reported to you when you collect.
As always our number one priority if your child’s safety.
-
Illness
Obviously we can just carry on with our day with many coughs and sneezes, but what about other illnesses and do I need to stay off Pre-School?
Please note all sickness and dioreah is a 48 hour exclusion policy.
If your child has a high temperature and requires medication such as Calpol they should be kept off Pre School until they are well again.
