Who are we?
Established in 1968, BMC Pre-school is at the very heart of Bramhall life. We are based in the centre of the village at Bramhall Methodist Church making us part of a thriving and welcoming community.
BMC Pre-School offers children from around 2 years (up to school age) a secure play environment in which they can learn and develop into happy, confident and capable children.
Our friendly, professional and passionate team believe that all children deserve the best possible start in life and we create an environment where we can build the foundations for all the children to reach their full potential.
BMC Pre-School provides the children with the opportunity and the tools to explore the world through their eyes in a fun yet safe way. We want to support their development, ensuring that they grow with each step that they take in life's fascinating and exciting adventure.
We are committed to supporting children to build their self-confidence and promote social interaction through the numerous activities that we offer and purposeful play opportunities..

Children get so excited about life in general. They see everything with fresh eyes, knowing they will find something new and different every time they look. We, on the other hand, as adults look for things we know and expect.
Let’s be curious . . . and let’s not step on the ants as adults often do, let’s start to study them like a child.

When are we open?
Term Time Only: Monday to Friday.
Morning sessions: 9.15 – 12.15
Afternoon sessions: 12.30 – 3.30
Full Day: 9.15 – 3.30 (please provide your child with their own packed lunch)
We have 3 groups . .

Our groups create more approachable ways for all our children to interact with one another and their teachers.
Age appropriate activities and peer to peer learning, present greater opportunities for them to develop and grow in an environment that is right for them.
As our children are developing socially and cognitively every day, most function best in smaller group environments.
They are less overwhelmed and it gives them the confidence to explore at their pace . . . they also have fab fun exploring with their friends whom they get to know really really well! . . .

Our facilities
We are based in Bramhall Methodist Church.
INSIDE we have 3 large rooms with interactive white boards in 2. All rooms are equipped with numerous fun activities that are both adult and child-led. The children learn through play and have an amazing time exploring the world around them ... whatever road that takes!
OUTSIDE we have a super garden area with some fantastic equipment ... come along and have a tinker at the workbench or a play around in the bath or even try your hand at cooking in the outside kitchen area ... or play in the camouflage den!
TRIPS: As well as little visits into Bramhall village or the library we run a Pre-School trip further a field every year, usually in the summer . . . often to the fabulous Forever Wild https://foreverwildforestschool.co.uk/ As well as a huge array of art equipment, books, toys, workbenches ... we also have iPad minis with age appropriate Apps on them ... we have been known to make an iMovie on occasion too!
The parents have access to rooms for any confidential meetings they may wish to have with the team.
