A one-off visit to a residential home is always a lovely thing to do, whether that be to see an elderly relative or sing some carols at Christmas. At Pre-School we take this one step further and take a small group of our children each Friday afternoon to visit our friends at Hillbrook Grange and each Thursday we pop in to Thursday Club @ Church . . .

There are so many benefits for everyone. Language development and confidence can grow for our children and residents really enjoy the fun and laughter. These special relationships build a real bond of friendship across the ages and who doesn’t love someone to share a laugh with anyway?!

Our children adore these visits and really appreciate their elder friends . . .
